Please read if you're going through or considering transgender treatment or you know someone who is. This is from a transitioner named Briana Ivy: "And I woke up one day, and I had shut out God for so long. And that was at the point that I needed him more than ever, and I felt it. And from that day forward, I knew that I had the chance to turn this into something good. I knew that I had the chance to give people truth that a lot of people don't, because no one is willing to explain exactly what this does to you. No one who has ever started this as a kid is willing to explain what you actually give up to do this. And the lies that they'll tell you, and the fact that doctors in these gender clinics will take vulnerable children and families and they'll sell them a promise because they're desperate. They're desperate, and it only gets worse because in reality a lot of transgender doctors are really activists first." Briana Ivy's full story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qhc4hIbLXlM
"By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." Hebrews 11:3 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+11
John 3:16-21 (NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Thank you God for the grace of a difficult life. - John Snyder

Without a difficult life i would become an even greater arrogant fool. I'm not talking difficulty just from the lessons learned from failure. But the difficulties that make everything you feel tell you to give up, your done, your dead, and still choosing to trust in God and keep going. The willpower and determination that results, the strength of God fortified through humility, and more is such grace.

Life is hard. You have to work hard. Don't give up no matter what. People don't usually do that(they give up) so it makes me wonder what happens if you decide to continue when everything tells you to give up or stop. Sounds a lot like faith. Sounds kinda fun to try and see.

God loves you so stop your whining.

I don't know what led me to your front page at this hour, but I really needed what you shared in your DeviantID. My faith has been a challenge lately, so, thank you. It can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes, but it doesn't change who God is. My head knows that, but my heart doesn't.

i remember the church service i got the quote at the beginning from. The message about something i had been thinking about for a while after seeing many people leave God. about the good that comes from struggling in life. i thought about the extreme end of that and what it would take to keep going.

sometimes i think having faith in God comes down to a time, long or short, where everything in life has broken down and all that's keeping up belief is choosing to believe. The heart tells you to give it up but you have to choose to keep your eyes on God.

I want to say your testimony and the events Ive read about in your life through here have encouraged me to have hope whenever i see your still going. ive had some friends leave God after living difficult lives and people ive known on DA leave while growing up and experiencing hard times or trying to understand feelings they experience. they follow God at first but gradually turn away then put up journal entries about it saying their done with Him. over and over i see it.

to be honest its been a while since ive looked at my page, i had forgotten what i had put in the ID and the meaning of it. i guess thank you too for finding it. Never Give Up.

You has my prayers

I think that's what it's down to right now. There's a time for everything, and what I'm experiencing is being a Christian without feeling God's presence or seeing His work in my life. But I still have what I need, and I have great friends. God still has his hand on my life, and I need to take a step back and get out of my feelings to see that sometimes.

I also have seen a lot of Christians, those on DA and in my life, fall away from the faith. It's something that's being talked about a lot on Facebook with two big figures in Christian culture renouncing the faith. It is really hard to see and discouraging. We were told this would happen, but nothing can prepare us for it. I'm thankful at least for the ones of us that stay and encourage others to keep on.

You have my prayers too, bro. Thank you.

Yeah. its getting to that point for me as well, i know if not for my family and their faith i would probably be much worse off in my own faith. Theyve helped me see from the outside a bit better when im seeing nothing and having to make the choice.

Ive heared about those two. it was disheartening. But i later found a post by the signer Cooper from the band Skillet, who doesnt name the people specifically but makes a point that the influential people who are leaving the faith are having trouble focusing on Truth instead of feelings. https://stream.org/skillets-john-cooper-makes-waves-facebook-post-christian-leaders-leaving-faith/ theres the link if you want to look at it.

Thank you
